David has been passionate about golf since the age of nine, finding in the sport not just an escape, but a place where he could truly compete—against himself and against par. Born with fibular hemimelia, a rare birth defect, David developed a unique swing that defied traditional coaching methods, allowing him to excel on the course.

As the Business Development Manager for the South African Disabled Golf Association (SADGA), David is at the forefront of growing the sport. He pioneered the 2024 schedule, setting South Africa apart by creating a dedicated tour for golfers with disabilities, offering them more opportunities to compete at the highest levels.

David’s ambitions extend beyond All Abilities Golf. He is determined to compete in both All Abilities and able-bodied golf, proving that his skills transcend physical limitations. Beyond the fairways, David is also a devoted father. His experience raising a son with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), an invisible disability, has deepened his understanding and commitment to making golf more inclusive for all.

Since 2022, David has dominated the South African All Abilities Golf scene and claimed victory internationally, with many more milestones on the horizon.
